The dying days of Nazism .
The year was 1944. The Nazis knew the game was up. Yet they partied like no one human had yet done. They had crossed the border of debauchery into outrage. At this time - no one on the international hedonist scene had even come close to partying like this pack of scoundrels.
They played games of heads and vols with balloons full of blancmange and pigscock. They lolloped about to rock and roll music like uninhibited lesbian guardian readers discovering the brighton gay scene for the first time.
They lorded it up as if they were wanton jihadists exploding large tins of plum tomatoes into the serried ranks of a gang of sas men in a liberated embassy or colchester night club. Like vegetable grenadiers, out and out clubbers. Like people arguing with the doormen outside raquels in 1989 basildon. And being punched unconscious
